Product Functions & Technology

The machine safely handles the vast majority of household organic waste: fruits, vegetables, eggshells, bread, meat trimmings, soft poultry/chicken bones, fish cartilage, pet food, fallen leaves, and grain inputs. Approximately 90% of typical food waste can be processed.
Avoid hard non-organic structures such as beef or pork leg bones, thick oyster shells, clam shells, metal objects, plastic wrappers, glass particles, high-viscosity synthetic rubbers, or concentrated volatile cooking oils. These can damage the blades or cause mechanical jamming.
The machine achieves up to a 96% volume reduction of common food waste through high-temperature forced-airflow dehydration combined with grinding. This figure is based on internal testing and consistent customer feedback.
The machine is equipped with dynamic integrated load and moisture feedback sensors that continuously calculate the volume of food scrap content. It dynamically regulates real-time power output and automated cycle run-times β€” ranging from 3 hours to 12 hours for a maximum 5.5L load β€” optimizing total electricity consumption for each batch.
High-temperature steam containing grease and odorous components is captured by a turbine exhaust fan inside the machine and transported to an activated carbon module for odor removal and purification. The activated carbon filter has a service life of 400 active processing hours, with a filter replacement reminder function built in.
Processing time ranges from 3 to 12 hours depending on the type, quantity, condition, and moisture content of the food waste. The machine's intelligent sensing system automatically adjusts the cycle length. For the 3.8L series, approximately 4 hours is typical for a full load. The latest 5.5L flagship series also targets approximately 4 hours.
Maximum rated power is 550W. However, the machine does not run at maximum power throughout the cycle β€” the average power draw over a full processing cycle is approximately 150W, thanks to the intelligent power regulation system.
High-fructose fruit scraps (such as mangoes, grapes, or over-ripe bananas) can caramelize under heat and create stickiness. Mix them with standard leafy vegetable scraps or drier organic material to maintain proper consistency and prevent the mixture from clumping inside the grinding chamber.
Not immediately. The output is highly concentrated dehydrated organic matter. To use it as an effective fertilizer, mix it with standard yard soil at approximately a 1:3 ratio and allow it to mature for several weeks. This enables natural microbes to break it down safely without risking root burn. Alternatively, it can be added to a traditional composting bin to accelerate decomposition.
The activated carbon filter has a rated service life of 400 active processing hours. The machine includes a filter replacement reminder function that will alert the user when replacement is due. Filters are a consumable item and are excluded from the standard warranty.

Yes. We fully support OEM (white-label on existing models) and ODM (custom design and/or new mold development). Your brand name and logo can be printed or labeled on the product and packaging. MOQ varies by series and customization level. For existing models with standard branding, MOQ starts at 200 units per SKU. For custom colorways on existing molds, MOQ is typically 500 units. For full ODM with new mold development, MOQ is negotiated based on project scope. We are flexible for new partners entering a new market.
For existing tooling (OEM with logo/color customization): approximately 30 days to sample. For new mold development (full ODM): 45–60 days to prototype tooling, then an additional 15–20 days for sample production and quality verification before approval.
We currently offer more than 25 SKUs across five capacity series: 2L, 2.8L, 3L, 3.8L/4.8L, 4L, and 5.5L. The 3L series is our best-selling platform globally, while the new 5.5L flagship series offers the lowest noise level (≀35 dB) on the market.
We hold ISO 9001:2018, KC (Korea), PSE (Japan), ETL/UL (North America), CE (Europe), CB (IEC global), ERP (EU energy), CCC (China), and SGS certifications across our product range. Specific certifications vary by model β€” please specify your target market when inquiring and we will confirm which certified models are available.
Yes. All product appearance and structural designs developed for or commissioned by the customer are recognized as belonging exclusively to the customer. Shihao confirms it will not manufacture, sell, or distribute products using the customer's proprietary design rights β€” during or after the contract period β€” without prior written consent. We are happy to sign an NDA before any design discussions.

Warranty & After-Sales

The complete unit is covered for 1 year from the date of delivery to port. Core components (motor and circuit board) are covered for 2 years. Consumable parts such as the activated carbon filter are excluded from the warranty. If the purchase date is unknown, the warranty reference is 14 months from the manufacturing date.
If the failure rate in year-1 exceeds 2% for the same component or issue, Shihao will supply replacement parts within 20–50 days. If a concentrated batch defect rate of the same nature reaches 3% after delivery, Shihao will replace the entire affected batch with corrected products at its own cost.
Yes. Shihao provides 0.1% Free of Charge (FOC) replacement components with every mass-goods shipment as a standard service provision. Additional spare parts can be ordered separately with a typical delivery of 20–40 business days subject to availability.
Upon discovery of any quality issue, Shihao will immediately notify the customer, conduct root cause analysis within 10 days, and submit a corrective action report with updated drawings and improved components. Quarterly A/S Strategy Meetings are also conducted proactively with key partners.
